WTW Pega Developer in Lima, Peru

As a Pega Developer, you’ll be responsible for the implementation of technical solutions. You will work closely with Business Analysts and other engineers to design and implement a maintainable and scalable solution. You will be building mission critical applications for the business that will be consumed by thousands of users. This role has the potential to make a high impact on the business and would be well suited for those similarly inclined.

The Role:

  • Design, develop and implement exceptional technical solutions, with little to no guidance

  • Utilize best practices for Pega development, QA, and security

  • Work in an agile environment that values frequent releases and fast feedback from stakeholders

  • Work with a team of peers to brainstorm and build high quality solutions

  • Contribute to architectural design discussions and build reusable components

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge by mentoring junior team members

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders in scoping and sizing technical requirements

The Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (speaking and writing)

  • Ability to develop and implement exceptional technical solutions, with little to no guidance

  • Manage technical implementation tasks delegated by the Lead Architect to ensure work is delivered on-time

  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project lifecycle

  • Ability to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements using Pega methodologies

  • Strong understanding of Pega PRPC; 2-5 years of experience using Pega software

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching and motivational skills

  • Experience architecting, designing, and delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure and applications

  • Experience working with databases

Nice To Have:

  • Prior Experience in Pega's Customer Service Framework

  • Knowledge of industry standard agile project delivery frameworks such as Scrum

  • Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts

  • Web services experience

  • Java experience
