WTW Pega Developer in Lima, Peru
As a Pega Developer, you’ll be responsible for the implementation of technical solutions. You will work closely with Business Analysts and other engineers to design and implement a maintainable and scalable solution. You will be building mission critical applications for the business that will be consumed by thousands of users. This role has the potential to make a high impact on the business and would be well suited for those similarly inclined.
The Role:
Design, develop and implement exceptional technical solutions, with little to no guidance
Utilize best practices for Pega development, QA, and security
Work in an agile environment that values frequent releases and fast feedback from stakeholders
Work with a team of peers to brainstorm and build high quality solutions
Contribute to architectural design discussions and build reusable components
Demonstrate technical knowledge by mentoring junior team members
Work with Subject Matter Experts, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders in scoping and sizing technical requirements
The Requirements:
Ability to communicate clearly in English (speaking and writing)
Ability to develop and implement exceptional technical solutions, with little to no guidance
Manage technical implementation tasks delegated by the Lead Architect to ensure work is delivered on-time
Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project lifecycle
Ability to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements using Pega methodologies
Strong understanding of Pega PRPC; 2-5 years of experience using Pega software
Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching and motivational skills
Experience architecting, designing, and delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure and applications
Experience working with databases
Nice To Have:
Prior Experience in Pega's Customer Service Framework
Knowledge of industry standard agile project delivery frameworks such as Scrum
Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Web services experience
Java experience
