WTW Outbound Sales Specialist in Toronto, Ontario
The Role
Primary accountability for creating and executing strategy to penetrate the local market
Lead and generate personal sales pipeline that supports the achievement of local revenue growth goals with a primary focus on attaining new clients
Meet or exceed minimum sales goals as established by WTW
Serve as a door-opener, bringing in H&B Teams to close the sale while acting as sales expert to the delivery team
Raise awareness of WTW capabilities in the marketplace through social media marketing and various other profile building venues (WTW prospect sessions, client events)
Lead contributions to the local sales pipeline and ensure timely entry into WTW sales tracking systems
Ongoing support and collaboration with Canadian Sales Leader and Toronto Market Leader
Leverage WTW intellectual capital to penetrate sales channels
Requirements
3-5 years of successful prospect development, ideally in a Health and Benefits (H&B) brokerage, insurer or consulting environment
A motivated, driven and self-starting attitude
Experience with outreach such as cold calling, emailing and social selling
Proven ability and discipline to develop a large sales pipeline independently and effectively
Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Knowledge of and curiosity about trends and issues relevant to prospect development
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
