WTW Broker & Operations Assistant in Budapest, Hungary

The Role

  • Complex support and assistance for the Corporate Risk & Broking colleagues in any broking related activities, also support of Managing Director

  • Supporting administrative work, helping developing procedures during the workflows of brokers

  • Ensure that quality and compliance procedures and processes are adhered to

  • Record and maintain all information accurately on the appropriate systems.

  • Work closely with associates from other departments that support the broking process (e.g., analytics).

  • Build technical skills by satisfactorily completing basic and intermediate training courses as required.

  • Assistance work based on brokers needs for all lines of business, including managing director

  • Support the precise management of any administrative or business related database

  • Office management, operational task, including post management, scanning, printing, office supplies management, etc.

  • IT requests, problems support and coordination

The Requirements

  • Experience in industry or broking exam is advantage, other relevant experience welcome

  • Administrative approach, understanding the market and processes

  • Solid presentation and communication skills in Hungarian (English: written and oral is an advantage); demonstrates active listening and note taking

  • Cooperative with team members, strong ability to support all broking processes as assistant

  • Open for relationship management and customer focus; ability to interface with customers and collaborate internally with teammates to serve customers

  • Negotiation skills (carrier, client, colleagues)

  • Demonstrated initiative to be proactive

  • Business Acumen: demonstrates basic knowledge/understanding of insurance business

  • Project Management: ability to execute assigned tasks in timely fashion

  • Adaptable and receptive to feedback; will seek guidance when needed

  • Leadership skills: ability to make decisions and support them; ability to take control of own work; ability to seek guidance and coordinate with others when needed

  • Insurance Technical skills are an advantage; ready to learn core insurance principles with supervisory of experienced brokers

  • Understands coverage forms and principles after trained and developments

  • Strong technology acumen – ability to utilize technology based record management systems

  • Advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with other relevant online tools

  • Strong in coordination work and organizing tasks

  • English language knowledge is advantage
