WTW Account Manager - Technology in Gurgaon, India

The Role

You will partner with our consulting colleagues to provide excellent support throughout the sales cycle for both prospective and existing insurance technology clients. You will have the opportunity to be actively engaged in the marketing, pre-sales, contracting, maintenance and renewal processes associated with our leading technology solutions for insurance clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Marketing:

  • Support technology marketing campaigns and new technology release preparation and follow up.

  • Pre-sales:

  • Connect with stakeholders to project manage the technology sales process end-to-end.

  • Collaborate with consulting colleagues to position compelling technology packaging, pricing and licensing solutions to our clients.

  • Work effectively with our technology team and stakeholders within client organizations to make arrangements for trial licenses for prospective clients.

  • Contracting (critical):

  • Work with legal, procurement and other relevant parties to lead contracting interactions and processes efficiently through to contract execution.

  • Renewals and Maintenance:

  • Proactively manage maintenance and renewal processes and communications, mitigating cancellation risks and identifying upsell opportunities.

  • Support billing, tax and other administrative processes as part of ongoing client and license maintenance.

  • The Team:

  • Work as an integral part of the Indian Subcontinent division and Insurance Consulting Technology (ICT) Asia Pacific, collaborating with consulting colleagues based in India, as well as ICT’s Technology Team primarily based in the UK.

  • Quickly build strong working relationships and gain the trust of stakeholders to drive superior technology sales and retention outcomes.

The Requirements

  • Project management & account management experience are essential

  • Candidates from insurance industry will have added advantage

  • Candidates with project management & procurement background from other industries are welcome to apply

  • Excellent sales support & client service capability

  • Understanding of client needs, managing clients expectation, buying behaviours and the sales cycle associated with technology products

  • Ability to work with and across multiple stakeholders and teams with a solution oriented outlook

  • Team player with demonstrable relationship building, interpersonal and process management skills

  • Quick and eager to learn how to use tools and processes relevant to the role

  • A doer with a proactive mindset and ability to ensure processes keep moving

  • Good organizational skills

  • Pro-active listening skills, thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
