WTW Senior Actuarial Director - Property & Casualty in Gurgaon, India

WTW seeks a Property & Casualty Senior Director to drive revenue generation for the Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business. This will involve maximizing revenue from existing client relationships, developing new client relationships, and leveraging relationships that exist within other lines of business and geographies to create new Consulting and Technology Sales opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for aggressively developing and managing an active pipeline through seeking out prospects, calling on potential clients, conducting in depth needs analysis/risk assessments, developing ideas for meeting their needs, presenting information on the organization’s capabilities, strategically cross-selling solutions aligned with clients’ needs and introducing technical specialists, as required, to win and retain business. Close working relationships will be required with other senior practitioners in APAC region.

The Role

Financial

• Actively seek new business development opportunities and maximize Consulting and Technology

sales through relationships and contacts

• Meet or exceed Consulting and Technology revenue targets, operating as a highly respected and

market-leading consultant

• Participate fully in the ICT Line of Business and the achievement of the overall ICT business plan and

budget

Client

• Build and maintain relationships with key players within the insurance and financial services markets

• Maintain a trusted advisor relationship with clients and prospects through effective communication

and innovation, keeping abreast of market development.

• Increase ICT brand and proposition awareness through targeted sales and marketing activity.

• Use effective account management and client relationship strategies to convert opportunities in core

proposition areas.

• Identify prospects for business from existing and prospective clients

• Obtain referral leads from existing clients

• Aggressively identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities

• Work closely with ICT leadership to ensure client satisfaction and the meeting of our business goals

• Seek opportunities to share knowledge/clients/resources to maximize business effectiveness across

the APAC Region

The Requirements

• Strong P&C insurance market knowledge – including IFRS17 and an understanding of the current

and future challenges and opportunities in underwriting, portfolio management, actuarial,

innovation/transformation, product development/management and regulatory compliance.

• Qualified Actuary with minimum of 15 years of industry experience

• Broad knowledge of most technical areas including reserving, pricing, financial reporting, mergers

and acquisitions, predictive modeling and ERM

• Demonstrated ability to propose and win profitable new business within the insurance and financial

services markets

• Proven ability to build strong client relationships, influence CEOs, CROs, Chief Actuaries and CFOs

with a passion for developing and delivering innovative solutions to meet client needs

• Proven ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with team members in other

practices and at all levels to effectively sell and deliver on client needs

• Ability to manage through ambiguity and problem-solve, and drive decision-making with several

stakeholders

• Ability to influence key stakeholders (internal and external) via formal and informal channels,

exhibiting strong followership, and to lead through change

• Proven people management skills

• Self-driven achiever with a value for teamwork, collaboration, decisiveness and integrity
