WTW Lead DevOps Engineer in Ipswich, United Kingdom
Join our team as a Lead DevOps Engineer and help us deliver cutting-edge client-facing technology. You'll have the opportunity to design and implement automation across the software delivery process, build CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud-based applications and direct engineers. Design and implement automation across the software delivery process.
Design, build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Configure and maintain development, test, staging, and production environments.
Proactively monitor application performance and infrastructure costs.
Collaborate with Developers and WTW stakeholders to optimise application performance, resolve issues and ensure our estate is compliant with enterprise standards and patterns.
Lead and mentor offshore DevOps engineers.
Demonstrable hands-on experience of Azure DevOps and managing Azure infrastructure including automated deployment (preferably Terraform), RBAC, monitoring and alerting, network configuration and policy compliance.
The ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
The ability to lead and mentor offshore DevOps engineers.
Proven track record of building and managing pipelines for continuous integration & deployment and application scanning (SAST/DAST).
Software Development background with development experience in C# and PowerShell beneficial.
Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
