WTW Relationship Manager - Financial Products in Ipswich, United Kingdom

The Role

To internally raise awareness of a third party provider and maximise the opportunity within WTW in relation to clients using the service offered by the third party finance provider. Additionally, to help ensure proper adherence to our agreed commission rates and processes.

Key Duties:

  • Establish an effective working rapport with WTW team managers and leadership across and WTW GB and agree a regular visit programme in conjunction with third party account managers. Target would be to meet with all branches at least twice a year, but more frequently with larger branches.

  • Develop a sound knowledge and understanding of finance drivers, products and facilities, working in partnership with third party account managers.

  • Promote these value drivers, and facilities to business units, highlighting the value they bring to clients, and the benefits they bring to overall service offering.

  • Organise/run training sessions, supported by third party.

  • Support with WTW leadership the annual sales targets, campaigns, and initiatives. Consolidate into an overall target of penetration and produce/assist in delivering the business plan. Track and monitor progress alongside third party account managers.

  • Ensure business units and new acquisitions are aware of our agreed commission rates, and that these are properly adhered to.

  • Analyse monthly MI in conjunction with third party, look to include league tables, that shows our performance, to include penetration rates and sales values – review exception reports for commission rates.

  • Work alongside third party account management to assist in retention.

  • Work with third party account management team to introduce the service to new recruits.

  • Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business.

The Requirements

  • Ideally has an understanding of UK commercial financing products and/or is from a financial services background.

  • Can interpret company financial report and accounts.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement with the ability to deal with people at all levels.

  • Ideally will have worked in a commercial client facing role in regulated environment.

  • Ability to create effective rapport and working relationships at all levels.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commercial mindset.

  • Able to enthuse and motivate our service teams in order to deliver results.

  • Persistent and tenacious in pursuit of WTW business goals.

  • Good MS Office and administrative skills.

  • Good planning skills and comfortable working alone.

  • Is willing to travel throughout the GB office network.

  • Forward thinking and creative in looking for new and better ways to deliver our objectives

  • Awareness of the regulatory requirements in respect of ‘advised’ and ‘non-advised’ sales, and in particular evidencing the standards and knowledge required in respect of giving advice and making recommendations to customers.
